My review:

This rabbit has been around for quite a long time, and I’ve been eyeing it for just as long. The band really is what was making me curious about this toy. I was very happy when I received an email from Lovehoney telling me that they would send it to me in exchange for an honest review.

The packaging

The Amorino comes in Fun Factory’s standard packaging. There is a golden sleeve with an image of the toy covering the actual box. Inside the box, you will find a few booklets, and your toy. The handle is covered in a fishnet to protect it from any damage upon arrival.

Two things I dislike about Fun Factory’s packaging is that the instructions aren’t really clear, and that there is no storage bag included. Their instruction booklet only features images, so you have to guess what they mean. I highly prefer when companies also include worded information.

The toy

The first thing I noticed about the Amorino is how small it was in comparison to my expectations, but this makes total sense as it is labelled as a mini vibe. This toy may be small, but in use, it has all it takes to hit all the right spots.

It is available in both pink and teal, with a yellow ring band. It had Fun Factory’s classic golden handle, with three easy to use buttons. The silicone part of the rabbit is soft and bendy. The vibe itself, without the ring is quite basic. The band, is attached to each part by sitting in ridges. It is flexible, but still rigid enough to be somewhat difficult to put in place. The vibrator can be used without the band, or with the band twisted one or two times, however, the more twist you make, the harder the ring is to install.

The settings are quite easy to use, but for some reason, the first time I used it I couldn’t manage to get pass the constant vibrations setting to scroll trough the patterns.

In use

On it’s own, this vibrator doesn’t offer much. It’s small and the vibrations are buzzy side and not super powerful. They are enough for me, but nothing more. However, the band adds just the right stimulation to change this basic vibrator into a great vibe. The vibrations travel through the string, and although it feels even buzzier, it stimulates the entrance of my vagina in a way that gets me off. The more twist you make in the band, the more tension you add and the more pressure it applies on the vaginal entry. One twist is just the perfect for my taste, and adds the right amount of stimulation for me. Also, unlike when using the vibe without it, using it with the band twisted once always gets me to climax before I even reach the highest vibration setting.

I was thinking that the band would sometimes undo in use, but it never happened, and I don’t think it ever will. It’s pretty hard to undo, even on purpose, and if you want to remove it or twist during use, be prepared for vag juice and lube to get everywhere, including your face (#truestory).

Overall, without the band this rabbit vibrator has nothing more to offer than any other basic rabbit. However, the band really does it all. It stimulates the right spots and allows me to climax, which I would probably struggle to do with this vibrator otherwise.

Where to get it

You can purchase this vibrator at Lovehoney (UK, US, CA).
